The first chase started at the bait by the river Timer and Scooch had the coyote jumped with in 300 yards she hit my snowmobile trail on the river and I watched all three blow by me on the river so I jumped on my sled and almost caught up when it went up in the woods about 150 yards and bayed up.I was on my way back to the truck about a mile a way when I came across a fresh track.I put Spider and scooch on the track they had it caught with in fifteen minutes down on the river. I came up on them they had him bayed by an open piece of water. The coyote decided he would rather swim than face me or the dogs so in he went. He came up on the other side of the ice and turned and faced us instead of going for the woods. He was too close to the edge to shoot so I walked Spider around the open spot him and scooch put the heat on him in the water he goes for the second time. I can see he is loosing ground with the current so I wait at the down stream side of the hole he was about to go under the ice so I grab his tail and he grabbed my glove when he did I yanked him out of the water and Spider and Scooch finished him. This was all before 1:00PM I love these conditions!http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo127/casey790/coyotehunt2-12-20123.jpg
