I have been riding around at least 3 times a week for close to a month now just before dusk trying different calls like owl hoot, load cuts, crow, and goose and have had very poor response this year. Over the last few years my area has had a plentiful amount for gobbles to put to bed and find in the morning. But this year is a game changer; I have been talking with a few others hunting any were from 15 miles to 40 miles from me with the same issues. Its been an odd season so far for this fella.

hunting is awful by far the worst season I've to date. lots of birds, if they gobble they don't come or they shut up when you call. I have seen 66 birds shot that i called in since 2000 so i don't think it is my calling..... maybe its lots of pressure not sure, but it is getting old fast
