    Pad Toughener

Post  crossroadbeagles on Wed Apr 06, 2011 3:36 am

for those who's dogs feet are sensitive

I think this product would work great for the guys whose dogs live inside and bother on the crust. Or who plain and simple put a lot of miles on.

That's a great product to have. That's useful for dogs that were spoiled by their owners.

Blue-kote works pretty good, and is cost friendly. I use this on my coondogs and it keeps their pads from getting cut-up in the crust. It makes their feet blue but doesnt slow them down to bluedog speed haha

No, You can use it on wounds and its a fast drying antiseptic. It works good if you put alot of miles on. Keeps their pads moist and seems to keep them from getting so cut up on the ice

Tractor supply or any blue seal store.Farm supply possibly.Get the stuff with the brush unside,it's thinner and alot less messy.I have bought red kote and blue kote and it says not to let them lick it.Ya right!

That's what i heard, makes there throat swell.Forgot till you mentioned it.I think Tuff Foot is a good pad toughener but the Hooflex works good for the webbing to keep it pliable, don't want to dry the skin just the pad.THOUGH i have heard of joggers using it.

I used to be a handler for a champion sprint musher and he used mushers secret. Works great. Some dogs just plain have bad feet and need to be bootied from my experience.
