    is it possible to run the dogs too much right now iam getting out about two or three times a week i dont figure this is too much but i figured it would be a good topic to discuss

    I dont think you can ever run a coondog to much! Other game is a differant story......

    As long as they are getting adequate food and water to keep the motor running. A dog that is getting run "too much" will look real bonny and not have the energy it normally will while in the kennel or while heading off to the field.

    No one knows your dogs like you do; we all can read our dogs when something not right. This is when its time to evaluate the dogs health. Check its gums for a nice red color, make sure it doesn’t have a wound that could be causing an infection and taking toile on the dog.

    All great advise! Plus getting them on a quality food that will hang with thier caloric needs is key!Supplimenting them when they show signs of need is always good!Keeping a schedual of a worming,shot records,and flea & Tick prevention,assures your dogs health.Clean water,Dry bedding and clean conditions,along with a healthy diet is what makes a dog perform at his/hers potential.All this info will definately help keep these dogs healthier.

    Dogs need the exercise they can get as long as they have no present disease condition. You need to appropriately balance their diet and exercises to achieve optimum health.
